My mission at Mistletoe Counselling and Wellbeing is to provide women with services designed to support and enhance their wellbeing. My practice is firmly based on the principles of empowerment and compassionate support. I am committed to offering professional counselling and coaching tailored specifically for women, ensuring that every woman feels confident, informed, and well-supported as she faces life’s challenges

Since becoming an Integrative therapist in 2006, I have maintained a strong dedication to helping and uplifting women as they navigate life's challenges. My reputation is built on a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental style, ensuring clients always feel safe and understood. With experience across multiple settings and industries, I offer a broad perspective in my therapeutic practice, especially for women's health support. I've been a BACP member for nearly two decades.
I hold a Menopause and Wellness Coaching Diploma certificate ( of over 150hrs of training and learning). It equips me to provide menopause coaching for women navigating this significant life stage. Both menopause and surgical menopause can present a host of challenges, both physically and emotionally. My approach involves offering comprehensive women's health support—physical, emotional, and psychological—alongside holistic lifestyle advice to help clients manage their menopause journey with confidence and care.
Over the past eight years, I have successfully ran a support group dedicated to women navigating or preparing for surgical menopause. Since experiencing surgical menopause myself in 2017, I have gained firsthand insight into its challenges. Now, this group has grown into a lively community offering guidance and peer support. More than 5,000 women regularly turn to the support group for advice, sharing their personal journeys along the way.
I am passionate about continual learning and broadening my horizons, especially in areas like counselling, menopause coaching, surgical menopause guidance and wellbeing. I have undertaken additional CPD training with respected organisations such as Newson Health, the NHS, British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and the Centre of Excellence. In addition, I possess both a care certificate and first aid training, which are essential in my role as a carer for a vulnerable adult.
In October 2025, I launched a podcast entitled Tough, Love and Surgical Menopause. This podcast highlights the real-life experiences of women navigating surgical menopause. Through engaging guest speakers and informative discussions, the podcast not only raises awareness about women's health and surgical menopause, but also serves as a valuable educational resource, providing practical surgical menopause guidance and advice to women.
In October 2025, I collaborated with another community to establish The Surgical Menopause Awareness Day, an initiative dedicated to recognising the experiences of women undergoing surgical menopause. The purpose of this day was to raise awareness of their distinct challenges, foster greater understanding, and emphasise the importance of providing appropriate support.
I participate in a multicultural menopause summit which was founded in 2025. The summit comprises five members who convene quarterly to exchange expertise in menopause coaching, counselling, surgical menopause guidance, and comprehensive women's health support across their respective countries. Our objective is to strengthen the menopause community through advocacy and the promotion of positive change.

Counselling provides a confidential and therapeutic space that focuses purely on your specific needs. It allows you to share at your own pace without judgement. Engaging in counselling can foster greater self-awareness and a sense of calm, particularly for women navigating a natural menopause and surgical menopause. Counselling sessions are available to all women of any age. Women turn to counselling for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, or dealing with trauma.
Menopause and surgical menopause may present significant challenges. I offer women the necessary guidance and expertise to navigate this transition successfully. Together, we will identify strategies to improve quality of life.
Navigating life as a woman today can be challenging at any age, and often what we need most is someone who supports us and provides resources to help us succeed.
Drawing on my personal experience with surgical menopause, I possess a wealth of knowledge in this area. Since founding my support group in 2017, I have assisted women for more than eight years. As a therapist with years of menopause training and a Menopause and Wellness Coaching Diploma certificate, I am committed to providing you with current up to date information and practical resources to empower you throughout your journey.
While these sessions are not counselling per se, they are perfectly suited for both individuals and small groups seeking surgical menopause guidance. They are also valuable for women navigating this path and looking for comprehensive women's health support.
Every month, I facilitate two distinct support and wellbeing workshops focused on assisting individuals experiencing menopause and surgical menopause. One session delves into the challenges related to surgical menopause, offering specialised surgical menopause guidance, while the other is tailored for women navigating a natural menopause. Both sessions create a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can seek advice, share personal experiences, and receive women's health support as they face the complexities of menopause.
The format of each session may vary depending on the month. Sometimes, I host the session independently, providing guidance and support based on my expertise. On other occasions, I am joined by another professional, which introduces additional skills and perspectives. This collaborative approach enriches the session and ensures a broad range of support for attendees.
Duration and Content
Each support and wellbeing workshop is scheduled to last for approximately two hours. During this time, attendees are encouraged to actively participate by asking questions and engaging in discussions about managing both surgical menopause and natural menopause. The primary aim is to provide useful information and practical support, all offered at a low cost to ensure accessibility for those in need. If you want to come along and just listen in, I absolutely welcome that.
